This Week at Niner Nation

Reformed University Fellowship at UNC-Charlotte exists to be a gospel-centered community growing in love for God and the university.

We believe the biblical gospel teaches us that we are worse than we ever imagined yet more loved than we ever dared to hope.  It is this grace of God through Jesus that reforms and enables us to become fully human and engage our world both in its beauty and its brokenness.  Come, taste and see!  To learn more, click the "About RUF" tab above.

First RUF Night is here!

RUF will start up this Thursday night, September 2nd at 7:00 pm in room 267 in the Student Union (just head up the stairs to Crown Commons then make a right down the hallway). See below for our study this semester. And plan to stay around after for snacks and a little Q&A.  The convo might be spicier than what you eat.

Of course, at RUF you can make plans to involve yourself in any number of things we have going on campus throughout the year: small groups (Bible studies or dinner clubs), intramural Volleyball, Chill at the Hill (dinner and games at the pastor's house), working with Habitat for Humanity, The Margin (real talk in the dorms) or serving our international students. There are plenty of ways to get involved.

But, as we hope to say all the time, the best way to serve with RUF is to...BRING A FRIEND!

Can't wait to see you!

Southeastern RUF Fall Conference

OH SNAP!  Another chance to retreat from the city and chill!  That's right.  Our annual Fall conference will be on the weekend of September 24-26. As usual, we are going to have it at Camp Greystone in Tuxedo, NC..  Some of you are ultra-granola and like all that Blue Ridge mountain stuff.  (We like it too!)  Every type of student who goes will find a SWEET place to get away for a weekend, meet some new friends (from all over the Carolinas), get reacquainted with some old ones, and maybe learn a little sumthin'-sumthin'.

Click here to go to the Fall Conference page for all relevant information about the trip as well as the link to pay for the conference online.  Partial scholarships are available.  This will be a great way to set the year off to a good start, so don't miss it.

Our Fall Study

Who are you becoming?  We think it's good every now and then to consider the form our lives are beginning to take.  We sometimes need to reflect on the pressures and demands we face, whether from others or ourselves, and see if those things build or tear down our humanity.  During these times, is your temptation to pretend like you're Superman or to check out in apathy or depression?  There is another way.

This Fall, we will have a series called Dare to Be Human.  It will be a study of one of Jesus' most famous teachings, The Sermon on the Mount (found in Matthew's Gospel, chapters 5-7).  Come rediscover God's vision for our humanity ... or see it for the first time.

RUF Night.  Honest questions.  Honest answers.
